Madison Lewis
Coach
Madison started her Crossfit journey in 2014 when she wanted to increase her strength and explosiveness for her main sport: softball. She was a four-year letter winner at Gateway High School where she was a captain her junior and senior year and received 3 First-Team All-Section awards. Madison played competitive softball from the age of 10 and finished her tournament ball career with Team Pennsylvania Fastpitch which opened the doors to play softball in college. She completed her softball career playing Division I softball at the University of Rhode Island in 2020. While at URI, Madison earned her degree in Biomedical Engineering, and she is currently continuing her education at the University of Pittsburgh where she is pursuing her PhD in Bioengineering.Â
In 2021, Madison committed to teaching people of all ages how Crossfit can change their lives by improving their health and the way they move in day to day activities. She loves watching people succeed and find new confidence at the gym and in their everyday life. She is additionally focused on coaching young athletes, both softball and other sports, the foundational movements needed to increase their level of overall fitness which will improve athletic performance and reduce injuries.Â
